Bri and Luk: A Puppet Play by the Future Centre Trust

Here are the mosquito and mongoose puppets on stage!
The puppet play is about climate change and is based on original books created by Nicole at the Future Centre Trust. These pictures are from the book and puppet show launch. I guess now I can call myself a puppeteer! Along with Nicole, Anthony, Davina and Vicky. We had a great time and so did the children!

Ink Plots Exhibition

In November, I travelled to New York to see my book, 'Stigmus Wallabee and the Big Bully', in the 'Ink Plots : The Tradition of the Graphic Novel' Exhibition at the School of Visual Arts Gallery. I was really excited to see my work exhibited! and also glad to visit NYC again!:D After the exhibition, they put the books in the SVA library, and I'm really happy people will get to read my book! ^^
You can see more about my book in my March 2010 blog post-->

New Puppets- Mongoose and Mosquito

I have a lot of updating to do with not just this blog, but my etsy store! ...but dont worry, I'm working on it! :P

I'm really proud of these puppets, because I decided to challenge myself by sewing and stuffing them, which is a method I'd never really used before with puppets I've made in the past. I'm happy with how they turned out! :)
The puppets were made for the Future Centre Trust's puppet show about climate change.
